Linda J. Denison
Owner and operator of the Wind River Mercantile, Linda always seems to be gone, but she’s here… really… somewhere. A California native, she opened the store originally because after moving to Riverton in 1980 she was unable to get the healthy foods she was accustomed to, like brown rice and raw sunflower seeds. Things started very small, but thanks to her loyal customers Linda’s shop continues to grow. Linda is a Reiki master and teaches classes for all levels of students regularly.

Dedicated to health and happiness, Mary Ann has worked at the Wind River Mercantile since 2005. She loves hiking and other outdoor activities. When not retreating in the wilds of Wyoming or gardening like there is no tomorrow, she can be found babying her herd of Hereford and Angus cows.
On the job for 15 years, Jeanne is a technical specialist who can and does do just about anything you can imagine. If it involves, tools, ladders, paint, hardware, saws, or hammers, she is on the case. When she is not holding this place together, Jeanne enjoys knitting, crochet, painting, ceramics, and working in her garden.
Daniel joined the Wind River crew in 1999. He is our resident artist, maintenance man, sprout and wheatgrass farmer, alchemist, Jungian dream interpreter, pirate, and horse whisperer. He describes himself as a well-groomed mountain man. Daniel is the creator of the secret garden (located conveniently at the back entrance of the shop).
Cynthia, aka “Morningstar” has been with the Wind River crew since 2007. As an intuitive healer, she offers healing techniques and nutritional advice to all who desire wellness.
Deb, our “city girl” joined the Wind River crew in 2020. City girl that moved to Wyoming 26 years ago and turned cowgirl. When she is not at the Mercantile helping people get healthy, she is with her children and treasured grandchildren or at home enjoying her horses and dogs.
Sunny is a fun-loving, upbeat, “sunny” kind of gal, whose interest in herbs and essential oils began 25 years ago! Reading Tarot cards, astrology, and collecting crystals are among her other topics of interest. She lives with her feline fur babies and loves to read & write!
